Sun
The Sun in Libra to start October and will move into Scorpio on October 23rd. While in Libra the focus continues to be on partnerships. The arts and musicians will be in the news. Discoveries related to diabetes or pancreatic problems may be announced this month. It is time for peace or compromise in order to secure a positive path forward.
The Sun enters Scorpio on the 23rd and brings strong and passionate energy into play. It remains in Scorpio until November 22nd. With Venus and Mercury both retrograde in Scorpio they are joined by the Sun. This is a good time for renegotiating but take your time. The retrograde of these two planets ends November 13th. So, use the Sun’s energy to help you determine the best course of action when the retrogrades end. Watch the
powerful people and leaders and what and how they will be reviewing and discussing. Hopefully, they will find ways to end the hostilities happening around the world.
Mercury
MERCURY is a fast moving planet staying in each sign for only about 3-4 weeks. This means it moves through all 12 signs of the zodiac in one year. It has been called the “Messenger of the Gods”. When it enters a sign it influences our thoughts, planning and reasoning. Mercury enjoys conversations, quick wit, making plans, projects and transportation. In someone’s astrological chart, the house their Mercury is in, along with the sign it is in, reveals how their Mercury influences their speaking, writing, and even shows up in how you walk. Walking around helps your mind/Mercury gather information from the environment, giving you info to share which Mercury can do very well. Mercury is the ruler of the signs Gemini and Virgo and the astrological house that has these signs on the house cusps.
MERCURY is in Scorpio throughout October. The mind is probing, like a detective on a mission! Use it wisely this month as Mercury will retrograde on the 24th. The week prior will likely bring a few events that are confusing or misleading. Be careful with electronics and all forms of communications. With this probing mind, you could uncover secretive information. That information may be best kept quiet until you have checked the facts and even then, wait until after mid November to “let the cat out of the bag”!
Venus
VENUS is fast moving and travels through all 12 signs of the zodiac in one year like Mercury. Venus has always been aligned with love. But, remember, it also rules money! It is a “feel good”, positive energy. When it connects with one of your own astrological planets it can bring love, money or both, or maybe just a few days where you feel awesome. It can also represent an indulgence in those things that could result in excess! Remember, the energy passes quickly through each sign so you want to be able to live with the consequences or decisions you make while it is actively touching one of your planets, especially the personal ones i.e. Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars.
Venus entered Scorpio September 10th. On October 3rd while still in Scorpio it enters retrograde. Now is the time for discussions regarding matters related to finances, entertainment and love. Perhaps a new perspective will result and, once the retrograde is over, new agreements or approaches can be made.
On October 25, Venus retrogrades back into Libra until the first week of December when it re-enters Scorpio. The last few days of October will bring back issues surrounding love and money and those things related to beauty, i.e. makeovers, art and music. Go slow in October. Simply use this time as a drawing board for positive changes.
Mars
MARS takes two years to travel through all 12 signs of the zodiac. It brings energy based on the sign it is transiting. Because it takes 2 years to complete this cycle, it is important to take advantage of the energy it brings to different areas of your life. It can even provide a passionate spark at times as when it touches Venus! It stimulates the mind when it touches Mercury. It is important to maintain a balance when Mars is influencing one of your astrological planets. For example, when it touches your Venus, your passions are ignited and you become involved in a love relationship or activity that you are passionate about. You could also receive an unexpected windfall of money. When Mars touches your Sun there is an increase in your energy and it could become aggressive if in, say, the sign of Aries. Knowing how the planets are energized can help you use that in a way that has positive outcomes.
MARS moved into LEO on Sep 27 remaining until late November. In Leo, it brings drama egos and world leaders into the limelight. Those in authority will be challenged. The entertainment industry will also be focused. There may be outbursts and huge demonstrations of discontentment by those in power. It may seem like you are dancing on a hot tin roof at times!
