Sun
May 20th until June 21st, the Sun will be in GEMINI. Happy Birthday, Gemini! You are being reborn, given a fresh start! 🙂 There is an increase in social activities and communications. Gemini loves to learn, so there is a chance you may enroll in a course or simply have great conversations with intelligent people! There is a youthful energy that brings a lot of fun and laughter into play. This is such a lighthearted time so make the most of it.
June 21st the Sun enters CANCER to celebrate the SUMMER SOLSTICE while it highlights family, which is perfect for Father’s Day. This is also known as Flag Day! While the Sun is in Cancer the thoughts and feelings are sensitive and the intuition is sharp. The next few weeks will spin the thoughts and feelings. Home and family are a priority. It is a great time for vacations and fun camps. This is a wonderful time to find ways to help and nurture others that are in need.
Mercury
Mercury is a fast moving planet staying in each sign for only about 3-4 weeks. This means it moves through all 12 signs of the zodiac in one year. It has been called the “Messenger of the Gods”. When it enters a sign it influences our thoughts, planning and reasoning. Mercury enjoys conversations, quick wit, making plans, projects and transportation. In someone’s astrological chart, the house their Mercury is in, along with the sign it is in, reveals how their Mercury influences their speaking, writing, and even shows up in how you walk. Walking around helps your mind/Mercury gather information from the environment, giving you info to share which Mercury can do very well. Mercury is the ruler of the signs Gemini and Virgo and the astrological house that has these signs on the house cusps.
June 1st – the Sun enters CANCER. The thoughts are focused on the care and responsibilities of home and family. You may be thinking of ways to improve your physical health as well as your financial health. Perhaps you need health insurance or to set up a doctor’s appointment. It could also be that someone you love and care about needs assistance. This is a great time to try out new recipes with family or close friends.
June 2nd – Mercury leaves the air sign of GEMINI and enters the nurturing and sensitive sign of CANCER. This shift today could create a feeling of uneasiness or imbalance emotionally. It will gradually pass and your thoughts and communication will focus more on helping those you care about and want to protect.
The latter part of June may feel challenging as we push toward Mercury entering Retrograde. This will happen on June 29th. It is a good idea to prepare for this retrograde by taking care of as much as you can before June 21st. This will help minimize mix-ups in communications, delays in orders, and a slow down in business. A note regarding business: many experience a drop in business during this time. However, there are just as many that experience an increase in business involving OLD customers or clients returning. This is a good thing under a retrograde. Some say that anything that begins with RE is okay under Mercury Retrograde – REpaint a room, RElease your residence, REconnect with old friends, REnegotiate a plan, etc.
Venus
VENUS is fast moving and travels through all 12 signs of the zodiac in one year like Mercury. Venus has always been aligned with love. But, remember, it also rules money! It is a “feel good”, positive energy. When it connects with one of your own astrological planets it can bring love, money or both, or maybe just a few days where you feel awesome. It can also represent an indulgence in those things that could result in excess! Remember, the energy passes quickly through each sign so you want to be able to live with the consequences or decisions you make while it is actively touching one of your planets, especially the personal ones i.e. Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars.
May 18 – Venus continues in GEMINI until June 13th, when it enters CANCER. When it is moving through Cancer, there is a deep emotional response to everyday events and relationships. Memories of family and the past pop in. We become quite protective of home and those we love. There can be an increase in moodiness so stay busy and focus on the security of those things important to you! Contact with one of your personal planets brings a kind, positive energy for several days. For instance, when it touches your Sun sign (if you are a Cancer), you will feel quite good for a few days and when it touches your Mars, connecting with someone you love is likely! Sensitivity is heightened along with intuition. Pay attention.
June 13 – Let the sunshine in and the fun begin. Venus in Leo loves to play, have fun and enjoy life. It also enjoys the spotlight. Those born under this sign will notice an increase in romantic thoughts or perhaps daydreaming! The sound of music, dancing, and celebrating is wonderful. However, be careful while Venus is in Leo. You could fall madly in love only to regret it later.
Mars
MARS takes two years to travel through all 12 signs of the zodiac. It brings energy based on the sign it is transiting. Because it takes 2 years to complete this cycle, it is important to take advantage of the energy it brings to different areas of your life. It can even provide a passionate spark at times as when it touches Venus! It stimulates the mind when it touches Mercury. It is important to maintain a balance when Mars is influencing one of your astrological planets. For example, when it touches your Venus, your passions are ignited and you become involved in a love relationship or activity that you are passionate about. You could also receive an unexpected windfall of money. When Mars touches your Sun there is an increase in your energy and it could become aggressive if in, say, the sign of Aries. Knowing how the planets are energized can help you use that in a way that has positive outcomes.
June 28 – MARS entered TAURUS last month on May 18. It will remain until June 28th when it moves into GEMINI until August 11. Until then, we have the steady energy of Taurus. Be careful of being too stubborn or resistant to changes as this could cause a missed opportunity for increasing comfort and riches in your life including luck! The security of home and properties is important now. Many times investment in real estate or buildings increases. There is also a tendency toward overindulgence! MARS will not return to Taurus again until April 2028. Use this Taurus energy wisely especially if it contacts one of your astrological personal planets like Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars. Those born under the sign of Taurus or who have Taurus rising may feel more energetic or experience a stronger focus on security.
